The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and ViralEd, Inc. are proud to present the "Hepatitis Grand Rounds" 2019 series. Formerly the "Viral Hepatitis Grand Rounds", this program is modeled on the ground-breaking CME activity "HIV Grand Rounds," which, in partnership with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, is currently in its tenth year. These CME-certified sessions combine traditional academic grand rounds with the innovation and convenience of telemedicine. The Hepatitis Grand Rounds from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is delivered live via the Internet on two Wednesdays each month at 12:00 pm Eastern Time and each presentation is available for on-demand viewing immediately following the live broadcast.
Hepatitis Grand Rounds presentations cover the most important and current topics in hepatitis, including NASH, HBV and HCV, and are delivered by the top experts in the field. They are designed to be immediately relevant to practicing clinicians and many are case-based. The final 10 minutes of each one-hour educational activity consists of a live question and answer period, with the presenting faculty member available to answer questions asked by attendees using the webinar interface. These bi-monthly grand rounds are intended to provide clinicians with convenient and easily accessible knowledge and clinical skills they need to provide the best medical care for their hepatitis patients.
